Tom Cochrane No Stranger To Doc And Woody

It was an event to share with a group of dedicated listeners and followers of a great Canadian artist. Those that didn't have the time to drop by have said through phone messages and emails that it sounded intimate and comfortable. And that's what we were going for.

Tom Cochrane, dropped in to the CHEO Dream Home yesterday and magically turned the Doc and Woody Show into a kitchen party.

Singing songs from his new album "No Stranger" as well as classics like "Life is a Highway" and "Lunatic Fringe", Tom told stories, laughed and joked with the audience as he took time to sign autographs.

The atmosphere was like an old friend coming home. Nice!

If You Missed Trevor Finlay with Doc and Woody

Musical guests are always a treat on the Doc and Woody Show; especially the fun ones. Blackie And The Rodeo Kings' "Let's Frolic" still resonates with me from last Friday. Tomorrow brings the return of an old and wonderful friend in Tom Cochrane. Click the image below for directions to the CHEO Dream Home on Winding Way (off Prince of Wales), where you're invited to sit in with us as Tom talks and performs, promoting his new album "No Stranger".

Friday Morning Frolic With BARK

Last Friday morning Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing and Colin Linden - Blackie And The Rodeo Kings - stopped by to plug their weekend appearances at Barrymore's.

While I expected to be impressed by their live performance, I was not prepared to be blown away by their relaxed but focused execution of the title of their newest album, "Let's Frolic".

Their easy-going demeanor added to the magic of the moment and made their appearance incredibly engaging.
