A National Scandal

A major embarrassing scandal is brewing for Stephen Harper and the Conservatives today as it was learned that the Prime Minister stood up and cheered as Toronto Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin potted the Leafs only marker of the game on a penalty shot last night in Toronto's 4-1 to the visiting Ottawa Senators.

The mainstream political presserazzi were on hand to capture the entire moment as reported on CTV.ca But can anyone be really surprised by this?

a) He doesn't like Senators as they exist....
b) Would YOU expect him to cheer for the RED team?
